About the Position: This position is located at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Onslow County is situated on the east coast of North Carolina and is the proud home of US Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, the largest amphibious Marine base in the world.

What you will do
- Operates a passenger bus with an approximate gross vehicle weight up to 30,000 pounds and with passenger capacity ranging from 44 to 72 students.
- Provides safe and efficient transportation for students to and from school.
- Assists in the loading and unloading of children with special needs and their equipment, as well as assisting these students in getting to and from their classrooms.
- Responsible for the general cleaning of the bus to include cleaning inside of the bus daily and washing exterior of the bus once a month.
- Reports all disciplinary action to the school principal and the DOA.
- Conducts maintenance and safety checks on the school bus prior to beginning all routes.
- Records school bus route and schedule on the trip ticket.
- Reports problems to the designated government representative (DOR).
