About the role

About the Position: This position is with the Director for Quality, Office of the Chief at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

What you will do

• Provide continuous accreditation consultation, assisting in implementing performance improvement systems, and serves as an advocate for the Joint Commission.
• Consult, coordinate, and facilitate improvement initiatives utilizing process improvement methodologies in order to maintain processes that constantly meet or exceed accreditation requirements.
• Facilitate the identification and development of standards of practice and service that are customer focused and fiscally sound.
• Use information management systems for monitoring inputs, processes, and outcomes in patient care.
• Design tools for ongoing self-evaluation against nationally recognized standards.
• Develop metrics, data collection methodology, data analysis, synthesis, and reports utilizing statistically valid methods and provides graphical displays of data that result in process and system analyses.
