About the role

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain DoD Personnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) handles the day-to-day operations of Army installations.

What you will do

• Lead a patrol team of three or more officers, including Department of Army Civilian Police (DACP), Military Police (MP) and Department of Army Security Guards (DASG).
• Provide direct oversight of all stages of investigations conducted by assigned DACP and MP personnel.
• Provide sworn testimony based on investigative findings.
• Reports team performance and training needs to leadership.
• Conduct various law enforcement training programs for military and civilian personnel on the installation.

Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances MAY be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations and an agency determination that a PCS move is in the Government Interest. Recruitment and relocations may be authorized. Student loan repayment may be authorized.

Salary negotiations for those candidates who are new to Federal service may be authorized. Credit for prior non-federal work experience and certain military service for determining annual leave accrual rate may be authorized.
