About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the Supply Directorate Sourcing Division, procurement Branch. The referral list(s) generated by this announcement may be used to fill future vacancies in other organizations throughout the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) in Warren, MI.

What you will do

• Review supply actions, apply knowledge of contracting types, requirements, and methods to develop supplier acquisition packages for secondary items.
• Identify and draft documentation for requirements packages which may include management decision documents, justification and authorization for other than full and open competition, acquisition plans, and contract data requirements.
• Coordinate with contracting center, engineering support activity, and other stakeholders to resolve delays to contract award.
• Conduct surveillance of open contracts to ensure on-time delivery of supplies and performance of services.
• Maintain communication with the contracting center and vendors to facilitate proactive status updates.
• Communicate any award or delivery delays to internal stakeholders to facilitate decisions regarding supply posture, order release strategy, and readiness.
• Initiates escalation actions to leadership based on established business rules.

Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest. This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Level 1 (Foundational) Acquisition Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.

The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position. This requires that a personnel security investigation be adjudicated on a pre-appointment basis which may take up to 90 days or longer to process. The selectee may be allowed to start work prior to adjudication if management approved.

Obtaining and maintaining a secret security clearance is a condition of employment. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
