About the role

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Assigned as Team Leader of a significant Project Office, responsible for the administration and management of the construction work assigned.

What you will do

• Coordinate the review of shop drawings to determine conformance with construction plans.
• Provide technical assistance and advice for resolution of complex problems.
• Serve as coach, facilitator and/or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and in consensus building activities among team members

Education

Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest.

SECURITY CLEARANCE / DRUG TEST REQUIREMENT (A signed Memo of Understand (MOU) is required to acknowledge and certify your understanding of the security clearance / Drug Test requirements after selection). SECURITY Clearance: Fort Meade, MD - The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance Level.

Baltimore, MD - The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Level. DRUG Testing: Fort Meade, MD - This is a drug testing designated position (TDP) under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program in accordance with AR 600-85.

Signing of a DA Form 5019 (Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified as Critical under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program) acknowledging periodic random drug testing requirements is mandatory prior to being placed into this position.
