THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a INSPECTIONS SPECIALIST (SUPERINTENDENT), Position Description Number D2897000 and is part of the PA 171st Air Refueling Wing, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement. INDEFINITE Position may lead to permanent assignment without further advertisement.

What you will do

• As a Inspections Specialist (Superintendent), GS-1801-12, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all IG programs and exercises significant responsibility as a Wing advisor of The Inspection System, CCIP, Unit Self-Assessment Program (USAP), Complaints Resolution Program (CRP) and FWA Program.
• Responsible for planning and executing the various complex programs supporting of the Wing CCIP.
• Oversee the management of Wing instruction and develops goals using detailed analysis of the Wing USAP and IG systems of record, to include IGEMS, IGEMS-C and MICT.
• Serve as an independent IG in overall operation, administration, and management of the CRP, IG Investigations, FWA, and Whistleblower Reprisal program.
• Coordinate with the Wing Commander and Wing IG to identify and apportion appropriate manpower to administer effective CCIP and CRPs as IG duty is a position of high public trust and personnel selected must be functional experts with a breadth of experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
