About the role

Are you passionate about helping others navigate important career and life decisions? Are you a highly motivated Human Resources professional with a background in Employee Benefits, who thrives in a fast-paced, and energetic environment?

If so, we are searching for someone like you to fill a position located in the Office of the Director (OD), Office of Human Resources, (OHR), Workforce Relations Division (WRD), Retirement and Employee Benefits Branch (REBB).

What you will do

  • Assist in administering benefits and retirement programs.
  • Work with employees, annuitants, and family members of deceased employees on benefits and retirement program situations, such as when combining federal service that has been credited under various and dissimilar programs.
  • Provide information necessary to help employees of the organization make irrevocable decisions and to garner the maximum gains from the available benefits.
  • Interpret and prepare informative material for employees on new, changed, and pending policy, and outlines the impact on existing benefits program entitlements.
  • Counsel or advise individual employees on sensitive or serious problems related to health or life insurance coverage.

What to expect next
