THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a HELICOPTER PILOT, Position Description Number D2930000 and is part of the ARMY AVIATION SUPPORT FACILITY 3, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants.

What you will do

• As a Helicopter Pilot, GS-2181-11, you will co-pilot a variety of rotary wing aircraft in support of the missions and functions of the geographical area while gaining the required flying hours and experience to reach the full performance level of Helicopter Pilot, D2930000, GS-2181-12.

Education

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Must have a high school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma. An undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university is optimum. AND Must have Federal Aviation Administration certifications awarded from accredited civilian aviation programs or must have aviation certifications from accredited military aviation schools.

You must provide official transcripts as documentation to support your Educational claims.

To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.

What to expect next

Additional Conditions of Employment: -This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP). The employee is subject to random drug testing.

Pre-employment drug testing and participation in random drug testing is a condition of employment.The caveat is that the states, territories, and the district cannot drug test until a drug free workplace policy has been established and approved by the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
