About the role

About the Position: This position is located at Fox Army Health Center, Patient Administration Department, Uniform Business Office. Office hours are 0730-1600. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

What you will do

  • Review and process claims for medical and dental insurance billing.
  • Follow-up and respond to unsatisfactory third party response inquiries such as claim denials, inadequate payment or non-response to bill to ensure maximum reimbursement to the hospital.

  • Collect and update beneficiary insurance information in automated health systems at registration or point of service Provide guidance to patients and staff on topics such as insurance policies, billing requirements and the department’s internal processes.

This position requires a 1 year probationary period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.

Continued employment requires written certification that it advances the public interest. Direct Deposit of Pay is required.

Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of War referral system for displaced employees. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest.
