About the role

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services, Children and Adults Health Programs Group (CAHPG), Office of the Group Director (OGD).

As a Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-15, serves as a senior policy analyst responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of Medicaid, CHIP, and BHP eligibility and enrollment policies and program operations.

What you will do

• Serves as a senior policy analyst responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of Medicaid, CHIP, and BHP eligibility and enrollment policies and associated program operations.
• Provides strategic leadership on high-priority national initiatives, including major legislative implementation, and serves as an authoritative advisor to federal and state partners.
• Leads implementation of Medicaid, CHIP, and BHP mandates required by legislation and providing overarching project management.
