About the role

About the position: This is a Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) position assigned to the 31st Force Support Squadron located at the Deja Brew (Area F) on Aviano AB, Italy.

What you will do

• Prepare a variety of hot beverages such as cappuccinos, brewed coffee, lattes, espresso, hot chocolate, etc., by selecting proper ingredients.
• Serves cold beverages and food items, such as sodas, juice cookies, muffins, pastries, etc. Receives payment, operates cash register, makes and returns change to patrons.
• May be required to prepare documentation for cash funds accountability.
• Maintains work area in a neat and clean manner.
• Sets up/cleans tables for customers and replenishes condiment items as necessary.
• Performs preventative maintenance and cleaning.
• Scrapes, soaks, scours glassware, dishes, and utensils as required.
• Also performs heavy duty cleaning tasks as required such as; coffee machines, ceilings, under and behind equipment, refrigerators, washes floors and walls, sanitizes garbage cans.
• May unload stock from delivery trucks.
• Collects and transfers trash from work area to disposal area.
• Assists with inventories, identifies items for re-ordering.
• May be required to open and close the facility.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
