About the role

This position is located at McCoy's Community Center Announcement amended: Pay rate changed due to new pay tables, extended close date. This is an open continuous announcement to provide a ready pool of available applicants as needed. List will be issued at management's request throughout the announcement timeframe.

Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

What you will do

• Prepares a limited variety of short order, fast food items to include hamburgers, hot dogs, fish and chicken sandwiches, pizzas, French fries, etc. in a Snack Bar setting.
• Removes perishable foods from the freezer for daily activities.
• Assures tables, and all work areas to include equipment and storage areas are promptly cleared and cleaned.
• Takes delivery of supplies and ensures proper storage of shipments.
• Accepts food orders from patrons and receives payments and completes cash report at the end of assigned shift.
• Assists in coordinating food and beverage needs for special events, not limited to preparing and serving food and cleaning up work areas.
• Follows all safety, security, and good housekeeping rules.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays.

Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
