About the role
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a FLIGHT ENGINEER (INSTRUCTOR), Position Description Number D0606000 and is part of the KS AASF 1, National Guard.
What you will do
- As a FLIGHT ENGINEER (INSTRUCTOR), GS-2185-10, you will instruct and perform flight crew work supporting UH 60A Black Hawk transport helicopter.
- Serve as instructor/flight examiner providing instruction, evaluation and examination on ground and operational training flights to develop and upgrade skills of aircrew members.
- Serve under the supervision of Chief, Training Operations, who provides general guidance on overall objectives to be achieved.

Education
Prefer a graduate of the US Army Non-rated crew member Flight Instructor/Standardization Instructor Course.
Must possess a valid Army medical flying status clearance prior to appointment.
