About the role
You will serve as a Fish Biologist within the Department of the Interior, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3, Marquette Biological Station, located in Marquette, MI.
This position carries a code 4 supervisory designation, with less than 25% of duties involving oversight such as planning and directing work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, and executing personnel actions to ensure staff meet required standards.

- Participates as a technical expert on sea lamprey in multi-agency task forces, work groups, and subgroups within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Provides day-to-day leadership, assigning and prioritizing work, setting performance expectations and supporting career development, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring technical quality and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
