About the role

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Clinical Standards and Quality,CCSQ, Coverage and Analysis Group (CAG), Division of Policy and Evidence Review (DPER).

As a Epidemiologist, GS-0601-13, you will plan and conduct studies and projects to examine health care and health delivery phenomena of interest to CMS policy makers.

Education

Education Requirement: In addition to meeting the qualification requirements, all candidates must have the following educational requirements: Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position.

This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
