About the role
This vacancy is for a GS - 0819 - 13, Environmental Engineer located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, FACILITIES DESIGN and CONSTRUCTION CENTER-SEATTLE WA in SEATTLE, Washington. This position is a TERM APPOINTMENT- limited more than one year but, Not to exceed 4 years
What you will do

- Monitoring project progress to ensure compliance with environmental standards and timelines.
- Designing and managing systems or processes to address environmental challenges including environmental restoration, planning, sustainability, waste management and pollution control.
- Manages contaminated sites and environmental liabilities for the Coast Guard, managing and coordinating investigations, remediation, reporting, and agency requirements to ensure effective site management and regulatory compliance.
