About the role
About the Position: : Position functions as the District's Temporary Emergency Power Advance Contract Initiative (ACI) Contracting Officer's Representative.
Maintains familiarity with functions, responsibilities, and activities of other Emergency Management (EM) project managers to carry out or supplement the functions of the other positions due to periods of intense workload (e.g., disasters, exercises).

- Serves as the lead Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the Temporary Emergency Power ACI contract Advises the Emergency Management Chief and Subject Matter Experts on all aspects of ACI contracts.
- Maintains effective surveillance of contracts to ensure compliance with the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
- Validates contractor invoicing against Daily Expenditure Reports and resolves any inaccuracies.
- Processes funding requirements based on accepted contractor proposals and monitors contract funding during FEMA operations.
- Serves as the Mission Manager-Contracting Officer Representative (MM-COR) Cadre Lead.
- Develops and manages the budget for the TEMP ACI maintenance and management program.
