About the role

What you will do

• Tests, analyzes, repairs, reconstructs a wide variety of highly complicated electronic, Automatic Data Processing (ADP), and electro-mechanical equipment; and specialized integrated and programmable systems and components.
• Modifies, and relocates existing systems to include system layouts as documented in drawings, mechanical, electrical.
• Accomplishes component repairs and modifications to the micro-chip level.
• Maintains, repairs, services, and implements modifications on computer controlled material handling systems, components and related communication and data processing support systems.
• Examples of systems mentioned above: encoders, decoders, interface circuits, serial to parallel data converters, and various input and output devices.
• Uses blueprints, schematics, ladder diagrams, program listings, input/output assignment work sheets, manufacturer’s manuals, and other technical guidance material carry out and successfully complete work.

How you will be evaluated

Open-Continuous Cut-off Information: An initial cut-off date of November 12, 2025 will be used to evaluate candidates for the initial available vacancies. This vacancy will be filled through a Department of Defense Direct Hire Authority. Drug-Free Workplace Policy The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is committed to maintaining a safe, drug-free workplace.

All DLA employees are required to refrain from illegal drug use on and off duty. DLA conducts pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, and random drug testing.
