Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community.

We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.

What you will do

  • What to Expect The function of this position is primarily to assist with and screen military requests for the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), input data into the Navy Campus Management Information System (NCMIS) when appropriate, and issue funding documents.
  • Assists students with all aspects of TAP and resolve problems in coordination with the Education Office.
  • When grades are needed, research the needed data so that records can be updated and new entries can proceed in a timely manner.
  • Files materials to be retained in the Education Office and assist in establishment of new files and records.
  • Assist in preparing reports and compiling data for reports, presentations, etc. Assists with stocking handout materials, prepares workshops and display materials.
  • Advises on the Marine Corps Apprenticeship Program, the Service Member Opportunity College Program, the Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Program, the Veterans Counseling Program, Metrics Reporting, the United States Military Apprenticeship Program (USMAP), the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES), and other Lifelong Learning programs specific to DoD voluntary education.
  • Promote self development programs at orientations, conferences, and welcome aboard briefs.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. may be required.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
