About the role
This position is with the U. S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), within the Directorate of Standards and Guidance (DSG).
This position is at the full performance level. This position is inside the bargaining unit. This position is NOT remote.
Selectee will be expected to report to a DOL office in either Washington, DC, or Philadelphia, PA.

- Conducting economic analyses of existing and proposed safety and health programs and their effects on the workforce and employers in support of strategic decision-making by the Director of Standards and Guidance or the Assistant Secretary.
- Serving as an OSHA representative to departmental and interagency (e.g., EPA, 0MB) panels and committees on regulatory economic policy and regulatory process.
- Serving as a senior economic advisor on staff technical activities to resolve problems and facilitate work results through meetings, work conferences, and analysis of work products.
