What you will do

• Serves as specialist and technical advisor for the control and standardization of quality assurance responsibilities.
• Assesses the compliance of SP performance to established requirements through various surveillance methods.
• Implements the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) for these functions and documents the Service Provider's (SP's) performance.
• Plans, coordinates, and conducts inspections to ensure the Service Provider (SP) is performing at the acceptable performance levels and meeting the established performance criteria.
• Assesses service quality relative to the operations and procedures for - Receiving - Inventory, Transportation and Shipping Operations, Packaging and stock readiness program.
• Storage and warehousing operations and Surveillance of care of supplies in storage (COSIS).
• Determines methods of accumulating data to best reflect results, and, if required, to assist the SP in isolating the cause of a problem based on analysis of data obtained from implementation of the SP's Quality Control/Customer Satisfaction Plan.
• Monitors, surveys, and develops monitoring and surveillance schedules for storage and inventory functions.
• Provides technical assistance to the SP and CGA staff.

What to expect next

Once you successfully complete the application process, you will receive a notification of receipt. Your application package will be reviewed to ensure you meet the basic eligibility and qualifications requirements, and you will receive a notification. DLA conducts pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, and random drug testing. Applicants tentatively selected for employment in testing designated positions will undergo a urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.

Refusal to undergo testing or testing positive for illegal drugs will result in withdrawal of the tentative job offer and a six-month denial of employment with DLA from the date of the drug test. Employees in drug testing designated positions are subject to random drug testing.

A negative drug test result must be received by HR within 30 calendar days after the EOD (i.e., start date).
