About the role
About the Position: This is a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (MRI) at Guthrie Army Health Clinic, Ft. Drum, New York. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

What you will do
- Conduct complex 3D and 2D magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans of the head, spine, extremities, and body, ensuring precise image acquisition for diagnostic purposes.
- Instruct patients on procedure methods, safety precautions, and risks to having an MRI Start intravenous lines (IV) for patients who need them for their specific test.
- Perform preventative maintenance ensuring equipment is operating correctly.
- Operate film processing and duplication machines Monitor equipment performance to address malfunctions, make minor adjustments Identify and correct image artifacts to ensure quality images are produced.
- Collaborate with radiologists to tailor imaging protocols for both standard and complex cases.
- Provide images to radiologists and referring physicians to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
- Train other staff in performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures.
