About the role
This position is located within the Radiology Department with Chinle Service Unit in Chinle, AZ. The incumbent provides certified diagnostic mammography technology and case manager for all abnormal breast health situations. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
Prior to the appointment, candidates must present two valid forms of identification. If one of the documents is a state-issued ID or driver's license, it must be REAL ID-compliant.

- Explains mammography procedures, addresses patient concerns, and ensures comfort, dignity, and privacy.
- Provides education on breast health, self-care practices, and follow-up requirements.
- Works closely with radiologists to ensure appropriate imaging studies are obtained.
- Adheres to radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety protocols.

Benefits
