SUMMARY: The purpose of the Crime Victim Specialist is to support all victims of violent crimes in the City of New Orleans. The coordinator of victims support services will offer victims information, emotional support, assist with researching, locating resources and filling out paperwork. The designated coordinator will also attend court with victims, contact organizations such as criminal justice or social service agencies, to get help or information from victims.
