About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency at Martin Army Community Hospital within the Department of Mental Health located at Fort Benning, Georgia. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed.

What you will do

• Serve as a Clinical Psychologist within the Mental Health Department at a Medical Treatment Facility.
• Make mental health diagnoses in accordance with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders 5-TR.
• Oversee, administer and interpret psychological testing.
• Conduct individual and group short-term therapy sessions.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record.

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.

Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of War referral system for displaced employees. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement.
