The primary purpose of this position is to exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over supervisory employees assigned to Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC), Detachment (Det) 7, in support of Air Education and Training Command (AETC).

What you will do

• Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Civil Engineering (CE) Division, ensuring that the CE mission complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors.
• Represents Civil Engineering (CE) Division with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
• As the I&MS CE advisor to the MAJCOM, advises commanders at all levels on AFIMSC infrastructure planning, programming, budgeting and execution processes.

AcqDemo Expanded Probationary Period for Supervisors and Managers: An additional supervisory probationary period of one year may be required when an employee is officially assigned to a different supervisory position. This is an acquisition demonstration project position NH-04 equivalent to a GS-14 to GS-15.
