Summary The C.I.U. Specialist responsibility is to explain to all victims of violence their rights as defined in the Texas Constitution and in Article 55 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure. The C.I.U. Specialist will protect the rights of, and provide direct services to, the victims and survivors of violent crimes that create hardships. The C.I.U.
