About the role

About the position: This position will be assigned to the Bowling Center on Langley AFB, VA. This is a flexible position guaranteed 0 hours per week but can be scheduled for up to 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Accepts customer orders and rings up sales.
• Totals sales, processes credit card sales, receives money and makes changes.
• Performs food service duties such as assisting in setting up serving area, replenishes beverage dispensers and condiments dispensers.
• Calls customer numbers when food is ready and provides food for pick-up.
• May be required to serve simple alcoholic beverages, i.e., beer, wine, wine coolers, in the absence of the Bartender.
• Maintains the sanitation and cleanliness of the Snack Bar area, both behind the counter and in the dining area.
• Receives and verifies orders from vendors and stores in appropriate locations.

Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement.

A probationary period may be required. Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD). Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
