Bowling Center Manager

About the role

This is a NAF position with the 17th Force Support Squadron, located at the Bowling Center on Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, Texas. This position is considered Regular Part-Time (RPT). You are guaranteed 20 hours, but has the potential to work up to 40 hours/week.

You may be required to work nights, weekends and holidays. As a RPT employee, you are eligible to earn annual/sick leave and sign up for benefits, to include Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401k and NAF Retirement.

What you will do

• Implements higher-level directives, formulates procedures and programs to ensure high standards of food and beverage, recreational and promotional programs and establishes, reviews, and evaluates food service, purchase of supplies, equipment and resale merchandise.
• Prepares budget, analyzes financial results and maintains solid financial condition of the center.
• Manages real property resources and provides expert advice on renovations, improvements, minor and major construction and ensures that maintenance and preventative maintenance are performed on all bowling-related facilities and equipment.
• Coordinates with the Marketing Office for publicity/marketing materials to promote use of facility.
• Works with the Resource Management Flight Chief to ensure resource protection and internal controls are met.
• Writes and evaluates personnel position guides and descriptions.

Education

Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement.

A probationary period may be required. Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD). Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
