About the Position: This is a Military Technician position with the Army Reserve Aviation Command, Aviation Support Facility Carson West located in Fort Carson, Colorado. This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve before a start date can be set.

Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement. Salary is based on the local prevailing rate. When you perform a Civilian Permanent Change of Station (PCS) with the government, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) considers the majority of your entitlements to be taxable.

New Army Reserve Military Technicians may be authorized moving expenses to their first official duty station. To be eligible to receive moving expenses, you must be a newly appointed Federal civilian employee or have a minimum of a 3-day break in service from previous Federal civilian employment.

Recruitment, retention, and/or relocation incentive, advance in-hire rates, advanced leave accrual, and creditable service for leave accrual may be authorized when determined to be in the best interest of the government. Student loan repayment may be authorized. Salary negotiations for candidates new to Federal service may be authorized.

Credit for Prior Non-Federal Work Experience and Certain Military Service for determining Annual Leave Accrual Rate may be authorized.
