About the Position: This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available.
This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What you will do

- Prescribe medications, educate patients about risks and benefits, probe for side effects, and monitor progress.
- Work closely with primary care and other providers in accepting referrals, providing feedback, and sending referrals as needed.
- Maintain appropriate records using a computerized record keeping and coding system.
- Acts as a preceptor to graduate students enrolled in psychiatric nurse practitioner programs.
